Window Cleaning

We use both the traditional cleaning method and the water fed pole system (using purified water to eliminate streaks and spots) which combined offers customers a comprehensive service for various types of property including harder to reach windows.

The traditional method of using cloths or applicator and a squeegee is better used for small paned or some types of window in very old properties.

The water fed pole system also cleans the window frames thoroughly on each clean.
Velux windows, windows over sloping roofs or conservatories and third storey windows can be reached.

It is also safer for the window cleaner.

Not keen on the water fed pole system? / Worried about streaks from WFP?

Some customers have experienced that their previous window cleaner left streaky marks on the windows when using the water fed pole system. Regular tap water which has impurities and sediments such as limescale which if left on the windows produces spotting or streaks. By using purified water which has gone through the process of reverse osmosis and de-ionisation (a series of filters and resin to naturally
purify the water), the windows will dry clear leaving no spots or marks. We regularly test the water using a TDS meter (Total Dissolved Solids) to ensure the water is up to standard and will dry clear.

Sometimes if the windows have been cleaned previously for years with the traditional squeegee method then there can be a build up of soap in the frames which could potentially cause streaks on the first few cleans with the WFP system. Understanding this we ensure that the frames are thoroughly cleaned from the first clean to get rid of any soap build up that may have formed to remove the risk of this dripping onto the windows after we have left.

Gutter Cleaning

The best time to clean your gutters is generally Spring and Autumn. It is advisable to have them cleaned once or twice a year to avoid leaves, moss and other debris from building up. Your gutters are designed to collect rainwater from your roof and divert the flow away from your home so if they are clogged this can cause leaks internally, rotting fascia boards and potentially other structural damage.

We take a photo before and after, of the inside of the gutter so you can see what needs to be removed and the end result.

In addition to cleaning out the gutters we can also clean the outside of the gutter together with the fascias and soffits.

Conservatory and marquee roof cleans can make such a difference – see our photo gallery for before and after photos.
